Thrift Drums came to life after we stumbled on a beat-up Yamaha PSR-47 at a local thrift shop. It looked unassuming (and a bit ugly, frankly), and while its synth sounds were nothing special, the drum presets blew us away. We immediately sampled them and started using them in our own songs.
