UDO Waveforms – Vintage & Analog Oscillator Pack for UDO Super 6/8/Gemini
Unlock a universe of new tonal possibilities on your UDO synthesizer (Super 6, Super 8, or Super Gemini) with our UDO Waveforms collection. This series of waveform packs brings the classic character of vintage synths and even retro gaming consoles into the modern UDO synths via custom .ws6 waveforms. If you’ve ever wished your UDO had a wavetable of a Korg DW-8000 or the gritty lo-fi waves of a Nintendo 64, you’re in the right place! These packs deliver high-quality 16-bit, 4096-sample single-cycle waveforms that you can easily load, giving your UDO a serious boost in sonic palette – from analog warmth to digital nostalgia.
-
Expand Your UDO’s Sound Palette: By default, UDO synths come with a limited set of waveforms – but with these packs, you can inject legendary synth DNA right into your oscillators. Each waveform is crafted to work seamlessly with the UDO Super 6, Super 8, and Super Gemini, maintaining proper tuning and resolution. No more being confined to saw/square – now you can have an oscillator that sounds like a Korg DW-8000’s unique waves, or a Moog MG-1’s pulse wave, etc. It’s like adding new oscillators to your synth!
-
Legendary Synth Waveforms: We sampled and recreated waves from some iconic vintage synths:
-
Korg DW-8000 – 16 rich digital waveforms from Korg’s 1985 hybrid synth (famous for its icy strings and percussive bell tones). Now your UDO can sound DW-ish for glassy pads and synth-pop leads.
-
Roland JD-800 – Digital PCM waves from Roland’s early 90s classic. Get those lush, retro digital timbres ideal for ambient and cinematic sounds.
-
Kawai K3 – The K3’s distinctive wavetable-like analog waves (including additive harmonics) give you wonderfully warm yet evolving tones under UDO’s analog filter. Great for pads and polysynth keys.
-
Realistic Moog MG-1 – Waveforms sampled from the 1981 RadioShack MG-1 (essentially a Moog Rogue). Inject genuine vintage Moog oscillator waves (thick and buzzy) into your Super 6 for some fat retro bass and lead capabilities.
-
Casio SK-1 – Yes, we even captured the quirks of Casio’s 8-bit sampling keyboard as single-cycle waves. These add a crunchy lo-fi element that can make your UDO sound like a PPG at times or a chiptune monster at others.
-
Sequential Take 5 – Modern analog waveforms from the Sequential Take 5 synth, giving you a more contemporary analog flavor (great for lush modern pads or brassy stabs) to complement UDO’s stock waves.

Nintendo 64 SoundFont Set: For the retro video game enthusiasts, we created a special pack of Nintendo 64 sound font waveforms. These are waves derived from the N64’s audio samples (think warm lo-fi pianos, strings, etc. compressed into 16-bit waves). Load these up and you can play chiptune chords or Mario 64-style pads straight from your UDO – a super creative twist that sound designers will adore. It’s like having a nostalgic soundtrack oscillator on tap!
-
Easy Installation & Use: The waveforms come in the .ws6 format that UDO synths recognize. Installation is simple: connect your UDO to your computer via USB, unlock the patch disk (we provide step-by-step instructions, also summarized below), then drag-and-drop the waveform files into the Waveforms folder on the UDO drive. Power cycle and you’re done – the new waves will be available as oscillator waveforms. No special firmware or conversion required. We include a handy PDF manual for loading procedures and waveform lists.
-
Compatible with Super 6, Super 8, Super Gemini: These wave packs were tested on the Super 6, but they also work perfectly on UDO’s newer Super 8 and Super Gemini synths. The .ws6 format is universal across the lineup. So whether you have the original keyboard or the latest flagship, you can breathe new life into it with these waves.
